Meet the Facilitator
The Zoka Tech Digital Studio training programme is facilitated by Shawn Ashman, an ICT professional, technology strategist, and creative entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the information and communications technology sector, including more than 12 years at the Director level. Shawn holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from the University of the West Indies and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Viterbo University.
Throughout her career she has led the design and implementation of innovative digital solutions including online court systems, national statistics databases, digital search tools for records long before the emergence of AI, and interactive technology platforms that improve how organizations serve their clients.
Known for combining technical expertise with creativity, Shawn has a unique ability to translate complex technology into practical, human‑centered solutions. Through Zoka Tech, she helps organizations explore AI, digital tools, and emerging technologies in ways that build confidence, spark curiosity, and encourage teams to think about technology as a tool for solving real problems in innovative and engaging ways.
